The PS5 Comes With a Free Game at Launch

The PS5 or PlayStation 5 is the next generation gaming console which is expected to be released by the end of 2020. The revealed design of PS5 has a very striking appearance and also came with PS5 Digital Edition which can streamline all digital consoles without a disc drive. This is definitely a symbol that the manufacturers are looking to have a future where there are no physical media.

The PS5 Comes With a Free Game at Launch

Fulfilling the expectations of the audience, the PS5 will possess ray-tracing, a super-fast SSD, a built-in 4K Blu-ray player, and will be backward compatible. It is also speculated that it may have voice assistant capabilities to let you know the time it will take to beat levels. Even though the exact date and price have not been disclosed yet, we still can have an idea of what we can expect.

The recent update is that the PlayStation 5 will release in this holiday season. And the surprise element is that the players will be able to access a game for free as the game Astro’s Playroom will be preloaded and free to use with PS5. Astro’s Playroom will be the sequel of the very famous critically acclaimed, a virtual reality game, Astro Bot Rescue Mission. In addition to this, Astro’s Playroom will sport the 3D gaming features.

A trailer has also been released to announce the launch of the game with PS5. The trailer shows the exploration of several elements by robot Astro as he returns. To reflect the casual fun side of the game and its virtually realistic capabilities, the trailer shows Astro having interaction with his other mechanical fellow mates, and doing things like hang gliding and sunbathing.

The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR had the Astro Bot Rescue Mission game in which players controlled the Astro Bot, sent him on missions, and saved his fellow crew. Astro’s Playroom, developed in JAPAN Studio is, however, exclusively for PlayStation 5 and the whole package of PS5 with this inbuilt game will be available in the holiday season.

The launch of another two big games that is Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure may have taken precedence over Astro’s Playroom news. Especially when all the three games are 3D platformers, it was quite expected. However, the fan can still be quite thrilled about having a free game at the PS5 launch.
