Co-creator and supervising director of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Dave Filoni has stepped in to talk about the Order 66 plot hole, that’s depicted in the final season. The last season was presented a few days ago on Disney+. In Clone Wars season 7, the makers tried to add another tinge of salt to the plot, by offering a new version of Order 66. The new order is from the viewpoint of Jedi, Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex. After the Order is given, viewers can find plenty of changes in the plot. Rex is struggling hard against his programming to murder Jedi. At the end of all this struggle, Ahsoka comes to help when she looks for the chip and removes it, thereby cancelling his impulse to follow Order 66. Years later, in Star Wars Rebels, Rex gives a different explanation of the incident to Kanan and eliminates the important details in the storytelling. This, perhaps, creates a plot hole. ...
