Ian McKellen To Star In A New ‘Age-Blind’ Production of Hamlet
Good news for all the theatre lovers, Sir Ian McKellen is going to start rehearsals for the new age-blind version of Hamlet as he is coming back to the stage after so long. Due to the strong hit of the pandemic, the theatre industry is definitely facing doom. In such a case, the beginning of the rehearsals will be the first bell in the theaters after March. But it’s time for joy as once again after 50 long years, Sir Ian McKellen is going to play the role of a young prince and he is very happy to work with the theatre again. According to the culture secretary Oliver Dowden’s five-step roadmap for opening theatres, the first step was maintaining social distancing during practice sessions and the rehearsals will start keeping in mind the roadmap.
